Downloading and Installing the Patch
When you click the link below, the File Download window
will be displayed. Leave the 'Save this program to disk'
option checked. We do not recommend that you run the patch
from the current location, but rather save it to your computer.
Click the OK button to get to the Save As window.
Once you've selected the desired location for this file on
your computer, click the Save button. Remember
where you placed this file on your computer, since we will need
to run it shortly.
When the download is complete, Click on
Start->Run and browse to the folder that you chose in the previous step.
Double-click the PDPatch1630.exe
file. When the installation
program asks for the directory that contains The Bead Cellar
Pattern Designer, be sure it points to the folder you chose for
the CD install before continuing. If you did not change the
default directory on the original CD install, there is no need
to change anything on this screen. You can use the Browse button to locate
your installation folder. Click on the Ok button once you have specified the
folder you want to use.
Your system will be upgraded and you can start using the new features once the
installation process is complete.
