What's new in PD2.
Version 2 (PD2) has been redesigned and rewritten from the ground up. It is 100% pure Java so it will run on any machine that runs the appropriate
JRE (Java Runtime Environment). The interface has been redesigned and streamlined giving a cleaner and more intuitive look (Mac users note the application fully supports
OS X's Aqua Look and Feel). All the functionality of the 1.6 Windows version has been maintained plus the ability to read and write your current patterns and custom palettes.
You can even export your new patterns and palettes into the old format so you can share with your friends who haven't upgraded yet. We've added a few new features also.

Enhanced Undo support
Almost every action can now be undone via the application's Undo feature

Multi-pattern support
You can work on multiple patterns at one time with full clipboard support between patterns.

Right-Angle Weave stitch
We've added the Right-Angle Weave stitch. Now you can quickly alter between Peyote, Brick, Loom, Herringbone and RAW*.

We're now distributing the application as a free downloadable demo. There is no time limit on this demo. The only features that are locked out
are the ability to Save and Print your work. If you like what you see, simply purchase a Registration Key to unlock your copy.

Export to Vector Graphics
You can now export your patterns in SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format. This formats allows you to work on your pattern as vector obejcts in
Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw or any other editor that reads the SVG format. SVG is the industry standard format for vector graphics.

The PD2 has been developed in Java which means it will run on any computer with the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.6.0_23 or higher.
